Calderwood Christian School

Calderwood Christian Schools Prep Playground is soooo much bigger. We extended the yard to include an unused rockery and gave it a make over.

 

We replaced the fence and incorporated some cool custom made timber panels with chalkboards, to draw children further out into the yard and increase opportunities for play. There is plenty of space to run around now, on the artificial turf and through out the native gardens.

 

There is a dry creek bed, hand water pump, watering can stations, balancing logs, hopping logs, timber fort with slide, monkey bars, a huge sandpit covered by a pergola, conversation circle, veggie garden beds filled with indigenous plants and clearly defined access paths.
